Hello everyone!
Two weeks back, Aaron and I went to try one of the best waffles in town as recommended by his friend. Sunday Folks! A localized specialty desserts café. It was located conveniently close to the Holland station so we didn't have to do much walking. And it's been awhile since we managed to find some time to chill at a cafe. We didn't take much pictures though*
When we arrived at the cafe, it was fully packed. So we have to wait for our seats after getting the queue number. Good food = Good waiting time. The overall ambience was really cosy and relaxing while everyone's busy snapping pictures of their perfect shaped waffles.
We got ourselves the seats quite close to the window so the sunlight shining in back then was perfect for our pictures.
Our sweet tooth are raging!! ʕ ≧ᴥ≦ʔ
Affogato ($7.80)
In Sunday Folks', their ice-cream is soft serve instead of the usual scoop, making it a different from other cafes.

White ʕ´•ᴥ•`ʔ ($5)
There's just something with the coffee or their beans that makes it taste towards the acidic end and I didn't quite like that.

Belgian Waffles with Earl Grey Lavender ($12.90)
The waffle texture was really fluffy and it matches perfectly well with the soft served ice-cream. What makes it better was the surrounding fruits, maple syrup and chocolate sauce! Sharing this with another person is better on a full stomach (We had ramen just 10-20mins ago). Earl grey lavender was a different experience but a "no" for me as I'm more fond of earl grey macarons.
Nonetheless, still loving the waffles on a whole!
Can't wait to come back for more & to try other desserts as well~
We've also heard that Sunday Folks is the sister branch of Creamier.
Hopefully, we'll be able to visit Creamier to try their waffles some day too!
