Hello everyone! ❤
My apologies for disappearing for 2 months~ I've been pretty caught up with my school assignments and final exam of my life! And I've pull it through~ Today's Christmas so I thought it would be great to share with you guys my humble sugar cookies recipe that has been expanded from existing ones found online.
Did anyone spot the sunburnt MakoHaru? ʕ´//ᴥ\\`ʔ

If you are wondering why these cookies are so NOT christmas themed, that is because i designed based on 3 factors: personal liking towards omanjuu, cute ones for colleagues & 5th anniversary celebration for me & my love ❤
To put it simply, I need more cute cookie cutters!! Do also note that I am just your average amateur little baker and I don't bake as a profession~ These are just measurements I have come up with and I hope that they can help you bake lovely cookies as well! ❤
I N G R E D I E N T S

2 egg yolk

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

❤ Melt butter over boiling/boiled water and pour it into a large bowl.
❤ Add in the brown sugar and stir it evenly.
❤ Add in the egg yolk & vanilla respectively and mix the wet
ingredients at low to medium speed for a few seconds.
❤ Sift in the dry ingredients (flour, salt, powder) & mix at low speed.
❤ Roll the cookie dough into balls and store them in the freezer for 30 mins
if you're in a rush like me (some people store it in the middle fridge shelf
overnight) to allow the dough to spread out more evenly when it is baked.
❤ Defrost it (30 mins - 1hr) until the dough is back to the same texture you had before storage.
❤ Most fun part: Use your cookie cutter to cut the dough into cute little shapes!!
Texture of my cookie dough
❤ Bake the cookies at the desired temperature for 20 minutes
I bake mine at 140°C because my oven is pretty old and it can't stand too high heat, thus I was unable to bake them at the recommended 175°C.
1st batch of cookies (with holes because I poked them to check their texture)
2nd batch which looks darker due to the oven being more warm

❤ Mix the egg whites till medium peaks and add in the sugar slowly.
❤ The icing should not be too thick nor too wet, such that it will
melt back into the mixture when you scoop some and drip it over.
My colourful icing!! ❤❤
I didn't use the purple one at all though~
Wrap up your cookies and you're all set to give them to your friends & family!
Hello everyone! ❤
If you have checked out my instagram lately, I have announced that October is an exciting month for me a few weeks back! Don't worry, my dear readers! Yes, ALL of you are part of this exciting month as well!!
It's sad for me to say this but it only includes if you're from any of this countries (Singapore, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines & Thailand)! I hope that all of you will still stay on with me till the end of this entry to find out what's in store just for you!
Hello everyone!! ʕ´•ᴥ•`ʔ
Time really flies so fast~ Another important milestone has been achieved on 10th October, last Saturday where the 10th Harajuku Fashion Walk Singapore & 10☆10 Party ended successfully! The 1st Harajuku Fashion Walk started back in 24th May 2014 and looking back, it has already been close to 1.5 years already~ Everyone's fashion sense and style just keeps getting better and I always look forward to everyone's coordinates each time I attend the walk! I'm glad that I managed to make it for the walk because I was down with a terrible flu along with my usual sinus.
Hello everyone! ʕ´•ᴥ•`ʔ
If you have read my previous posts, you would have known that I'm a fan of pastel shades and the closest Japanese fashion, or more specific Harajuku subculture will be Fairy kei, Read on if you are interested to find out more about Fairy kei and my creations! ❤ ❤ Long post warning ☆
Hello everyone! ʕ´❤ᴥ❤`ʔ
The 9th Harajuku Fashion Walk Singapore ended successfully once again on 29th August. This time round, I decked in pants instead of my usual skirts and dresses. I coordinated somewhat similar to that of SPANK's 80s/fancy kids' style with the pastel theme in mind as usual and the results were pretty satisfying to me.

The highlight of this coordinate will be the cute Care Bear shirt that I got from Junnyan's collection. I modified it from a dress to a shirt and added some cute frills along the collar and shirt end.
This pink fluffy care bear is called Love-a-Lot Bear so my job here is to spread my love for fairy-kei and Harajuku fashion. Does it look cuter after the modification? ❤
I also dyed my hair in Beauty Labo's Candy Apricot to give it a cuter look.
Here's my hair after some magic by the hair curler before I turn them into twintails again✧✧
I really hope that there will be more people dressed up in pastel colours and then, we can go take lots of cute pictures together!! But sadly, the local community seem to adore the colour black more. ˚‧º·ʕ˚ >ᴥ< ʔ‧º·˚ ゜

Nevertheless, it is an event for friends to gather together, chill and chit-chat under the sun literally! The weather in Singapore sure is killing everyone of us.
Right now, I am already in the midst of thinking for my coordinate for the next walk. Should I stick with fairy-kei or something else? What do y'll think?
I will be more hardworking and take snapshots of people with unique fashion styles to show all of you in the next walk's entry too!

It has been awhile since I last wrote an entry related to food. To keep everything simple and sweet, I will let the pictures do the speaking instead. In case anyone of you is wondering why most of the shots were taken indoors, I can only blame the sudden heavy downpour that day. Shop Wonderland, also known as The Pantry is not only a cafe, it also houses retail, florist as well as workshops, along the street of Haji Lane.
With their wide selection of cakes, I was definitely spoilt for choice! I settled on my Cherry Blossom cake since being a seasonal special, it wasn't listed on the regular menu. As usual, I ordered a cup of hot latte to go with it while my friend went for the Gula Melaka, which was slightly more towards the dry end for my liking.
Another friend of ours came slightly later but her Honeycomb Blackcurrant was actually one of the best out of the three cakes. The sweetness and texture control of the cake was all on point.
It would be nice if they serve handmade cakes since I have understood that their cakes come from suppliers. Nevertheless, if they select the best cakes from famous bakeries over Singapore, why not too? The best of the best under one roof they say. We enjoyed our time at the 2nd level of the shop where we were accompanied by the aroma of the various flowers around.
Candles, plates displayed on these vibrant green racks as well as cards at the bottom picture are all available for sale as well!
We also managed to get a short glimpse of the florist at work in her little corner surrounded by the beautiful dried flowers.
It was a pity that I could not taste their strawberry shortcake because it was not available on the shelves. I only spotted it being served when we were making our way out of the shop. A tip for all of you would be to check with the shopkeeper on the availability of cakes offered at that day before deciding on what you are going to get!
You should drop by this cafe to check out their cakes for yourself as well as the cosy environment they have in store for you! I will definitely be going back to try my strawberry shortcake when I am free again!

Thank you for reading! ❤ Till then!
Today, I will be sharing this cute Berrisom lip tint pack from Wishtrend, an online Korean beauty and cosmetic store with worldwide shipping. I have always wanted to try this since I found it over Youtube and various beauty blogs. This lip tint has a unique formula whereby it will dry to a rubbery layer after you applied on your lips. All you have to do afterwards is to peel it off and your lips will be tinted. Doesn't this sound fun?
Hello everyone! ❤
Last Saturday, we have the privilege to attend the Harajuku Fashion Walk in Singapore with Junnyan-san, the founder of the original Harajuku Fashion Walk back in Japan! Junnyan-san was invited as one of the special guests for a local event, Icexpo!
Check out his pop coordinate~
How colourful!! He's super friendly and cute!✧✧
The walk in Singapore would also not have happened without this guy here! Noriaki-san❤ Thank you for letting me join in the discussion panel~
The day for me started with the walk at 1pm, Merlion Park, the usual venue that all of us would gather together before setting off. Here's a lovely group shot by CHR Studios!
The walk then ended at Scape, where the Icexpo event was held at. At 4pm, we had our panel discussion along with Junnyan-san, where we discussed various questions with relations to Harajuku Fashion!
From left: Noriaki-san (founder of Harajuku), Celester(MC), Xin Yi (Translator), Junnyan-san, Myself (Aomoji Kei/Fairy Kei), Ume (Dark Mori Kei), Chanel (Oshare Kei), Junka (Shironuri), Sabrina (Lolita).
Before the panel started, Junnyan-san jokingly said this to me, "Momo-san's the star". This was because my seating position was in the middle due to arrangement of seats in alphabetical order. ʕ≧ᴥ≦ʔ

Being part of the panel made me realise that I should work hard on my public speaking skills and read up more on different kinds of fashion. It was a good experience as all of us exchanged our personal opinions about the same topic.
Good job to everyone!! ʕ/ ·ᴥ·ʔ/
After an hour of panel discussion, we headed off to the next venue for our mini Harajuku fashion showcase in conjunction with SHINE Festival!
